July–September, 2018 and the Gospel of Luke

For the last three months of 2018 (October–December), we will be spending time together as a church reading slowly through the Gospel of John. This will also be the focus of the adult Sunday school class from October 14 through January 6. The reading plan will be posted under Bible Study Notes.

Scripture Memory

From October–December 2018, we will be memorizing some verses from John’s gospel. The goal for the 13 weeks will be to memorize at least 13 verses—just one per week. You might choose to memorize a verse a week from that week’s reading or you might choose to memorize a longer passage from John’s gospel. Regardless, we hope you will join us in memorizing more of God’s Word in 2018.

Current Sermon Series

This week (12/16) we will celebrate the 3rd Sunday in Advent by looking at 1 Corinthians 13:6–7.

Our Sunday Gathering

We gather on Sundays around 9:30 for coffee and fellowship. We then have elementary, junior & senior high, and adult fellowship classes beginning around 9:45. In the summer months we also have a college age class. Our worship services begin around 11:00 with singing, prayer, and time spent looking at what the Bible says to us, followed most mornings by a time of corporate discussion based on the morning’s Scripture passage.
